Orchestrate timely resolution of Open Space Matters, and maintain up-to-date communication with the Upper Freehold Township Committee regarding the status and resolution of issues.
Provide guidance on concepts and initiatives to incorporate active and passive recreational open space needs within Upper Freehold Township.
Provide guidance on concepts and initiatives to preserve farmland to the maximum extent possible in collaboration with the UFT Agricultural Board.
Identify and suggest properties for open space grant application.
Attend relevant informational seminars/conferences and summarize relevant information to the UFT Open Space topic.
Assist the UF Township Committee to address open space matters relevant to the Township’s obligation for COAH.
