Upper Freehold Regional School District
The Monmouth County Division of Planning is developing Safe Streets Monmouth, a safety action plan with the goal of eliminating fatal and serious injury crashes throughout the County. The plan will utilize the Safe System Approach, focusing on Safer Roads, Safer People, Safer Vehicles, Safer Speeds, and Post-Crash Care.
Since the project’s launch the team has been hard at work collecting and analyzing crash data, roadway information, examining policies, and doing public outreach in person and through our online survey and editable, interactive wikimap. I’ve pasted a screenshot from the wikimap below, it is a fantastic tool that allows people to tell us exactly where they see a problem they want to call attention to.
